Thank you, Mr. Chair. India exercised its right of reply to categorically reject the unwarranted, baseless, and politically motivated reference made by Pakistan to Joman Kashmir. I would like to emphasize that Jamman Kashmir has been his and will be an integral and inalienable part of India. The remark made by Pakistan is an unfortunate reflection of its continued misuse of multilateral platforms to divert attention. From its own crimes against humanity and long history of supporting cross-border terrorism. Pakistan would do well to remember the heinous crimes it perpetrated against its own citizens in 1971 that claimed millions of lives. This is a stark reminder of its historical disregard for human rights and international norms. Pakistan must look inwards and address the plight of its minorities, enforce disappearances. Extrajudicial killings, suppression of dissent, and forced abductions and conversion take place on a routine basis with impunity. It is also a matter of record that Pakistan has harbored UN designated terrorist entities targeted at the people of Jammu and Kashmir who continue to suffer till date. The most recent is the barbaric terrorist attack in Pahelgam on 22nd April, which claimed the lives of 26 innocent civilians. Yet again, the true face of Pakistan's support for terrorism has been exposed. Instead of peddling falsehoods, Pakistan should focus on addressing its internal human rights abuses, dismantling terrorist infrastructure, and fulfilling its obligations under international law. Due to respect for the forum, Mr. Chair, please allow me to conclude. Thank you, Mr. Chair.
🇵🇰 PakistanFirst replyin response to India
Thank you, Mr. Chair. I am compelled to use my right of reply in response to a flimsy statement made by the delegate of one country regarding Jammu and Kashmir. India's assertion that Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India does not stand the test of history, geography, justice, and fairness, and more significantly, the established canon of international law. It is in fact a gross devastary of truth and a mockery of international law. Jammu and Kashmir is a disputed territory as per UNSC resolutions, pending a final solution. Right of self-determination is a legal right of the Kashmiris, as per UN Charter and UNSC resolutions, a right which India solemnly promised to the Kashmiris and is just stubbornly denying it on fictitious and frivolous pretext. Equally condemning is India's attempt to obfuscate Kashmiri people's just freedom struggle by portraying it as a terrorism. It is ironic that these preposterous allegations are being hurled by a country which is running a global franchise of assassination campaigns against political dissidents and is openly colluding with the terrorist outfits to sow the seeds of subversion and chaos in the neighboring countries. India would do well to realize that jugglery and acrobatic with the words could not legitimize its illegal occupation of Kashmir, nor could the reign of terror established by occupying forces trample on Kashmiri people's just and indigenous freedom struggle. It is for India to reflect as to why its overwhelming multipresence has completely failed to snuff out the Kashmiri people's aspirations for freedom and dignity. Pakistan would continue to extend political and moral support to the freedom struggle of the Kashmiri people and continue to call for holding a UN mandated plebiscite in Jammu and Kashmir as per UNSC resolutions and the wishes and aspirations of the Kashmiri people. International community should step forward to echo Pakistan's demand for this novel objective for alleviating the suffering of Kashmiris. I think. Thank you. Yeah.
